| The opening program started at exactly 8:00 in the morning of November 4, 2025. The opening program was facilitated by the Program Management Team (PMT). Dr. Lourdes L. Matan the ELLN focal person emphasized the objectives of the session as well as the flow of the 3-day activity. There were 4 speakers for day 1. Mrs. Marcia Tocayon of Guinbaoyan Norte Elementary School was the first speaker. She elucidated Phonological awareness where participants learned the reasons of learners difficulty in reading. Next speaker was Mrs. Samila Advincula on the topic about Reading Comprehension. He was followed by Dr. Erwin Purcia on the topic about Science of reading. The last speaker discussed about Phonics Instruction. The session ended at exactly 5:15 with post-test evaluation on Day 1. The second day, November 25, 2024 started with an MOL at exactly 7:45. There were 4 speakers for day 2. Dr. Lourdes L. Matan discussed about the Developing oral language. A demonstration Teaching was followed by Dawn Marie Castante.. The afternoon session of Day 2 started with an energizer. It was followed by Mr. Maximo T. Paxho about Language Transition. Mrs. Chona C. Valenzuela was the second discussant in the afternoon about Fluency. And she was followed by Mrs. Maychie T. Batulat about Teacher as Facilitator. Mrs. Gloria Diomangay had a demonstration Teaching before the second day ended. Third day, November 26, 2025 started with a short MOL . The first speaker was Mrs. Maricel G. Merencillo about Differentiated Instruction using Explicit Teaching while the second speaker Mr. Bernie J. Abing emphasis was on Vocabulary Development. The afternoon session of Day 3 started with an energizer followed by Mr.Joshua Sherwin T. Lim Topic on Startegies in developing numeracy skills for key stage 1. This was followed by a demonstration of numeracy by Mrs. Lorena S. Evardone at Exactly 4:00pm the closing program commenced. 2 participants share their impressions on the activity. The closing program was graced by the 2 Education Supervisor Dr. Lourdes L. Matan and Mr.Joshua Sherwin T. Lim. |
